It's Snowing

The past few days I have been sick. I think that I would get better if I haven’t been working ten to seventeen hour days. Today I didn’t have to work so I got a little more sleep then I have been getting so I feel a little bit better. Hopefully it just goes away. I have decided that I love the snow. It has been snowing for the past few days. If you know anything about where I live you know that the wind blows like crazy. So even with days of snow it never looks like it has snowed that much. I think that the only reason that I love the snow is because when it is snowing its not that cold. When it’s not snowing it is freezing cold, that’s what I don’t like. The roads seem to be a lot slicker when it’s freezing then when it is snowing. The other day I needed to go to Twin to get some thing for work. This day was really cold and needless to day that I slid a little on the ice. Maybe I almost hit a car, that’s my mom’s story anyways. Luckily when I was sliding I stopped before I hit the car. I’m sure once it stops snowing the cold and winds will come and once again it will be freezing cold.

Merry Christmas

It’s been a great day! I kinda wish that I could have slept in more today but other than that it been a wonderful day. It was a lot of fun to see all of my nephews and niece opens their gifts. Little kids are the funniest to see. Damien got a lot of gifts that had to do with Thomas the train I think it called that. Rylee, the princess that she is got only princess things and a lot of it. Tucker seemed to get toy that make noise his parents will love that. : ) Hunter the poor boy was sick, but still got some cute things.

Also this morning when I saw Rylee and tucker they where wearing shirts that said “I hope it’s a Sister,” and “I hope it’s a Brother.” Well I wish I could say that I got is right off the bat but I didn’t it took me a little while to figure it out. Well to be completely honest it had to be spelled out for me. So that make it soon to be six grandchildren for my parent and they aren’t even old yet.

It was a good day I hope that everyone has had a wonderful day!!!

It’s so crazy that Christmas is tomorrow!! Josh and Jen decided that they were going to stay in Boise this year. It made me so sad that I wouldn’t be able to see them. So needless to say I have been bugging them for days telling them to come home and not stay in Boise. Each time I called Josh to tell him he should come home he told me that they would not be coming. Well guess what? I convinced them. Josh said “I annoyed him enough that he decided to come.” I’m good J I’m so excited, because we will all be home for Christmas. I’m spoiled what can I say!!

Tamone

The past few weeks my cat has had a urinary track infection. This is the second time that Tamone has had this in the past three mouths. I have had to give him pills twice a day for three weeks. If you haven’t ever given a cat a pill it’s a very hard thing. The first time that I gave it to him he bit me three times, so I had to out smart him. I finally figured it out. I first would wrap him up in a towel so only his head was sticking out. He looked funny!! Then I would force his mouth open with one hand, while I dropped the pill in the other. Then I would hold his mouth close while I blew in his face so that he would swallow. Sometimes I would have to repeat it a few times. Some day he would be extra stubborn I had to repeat this process quite a few time. Well today I gave him his last pill; hopefully he won’t get it again for a while. He’s kind of a pain in the butt but he is cute.

Nonsense

This weekend has been crazy, and I haven’t even had to shop. Have you ever played guitar hero? Well if you haven’t I truly recommend it because it’s a lot of fun. My friends and I have played it a lot the past few days. If you know me well you know that I don’t really like video game that much, acutely not at all. In fact I think that most video game seem to make me motion sickness. But anyways, guitar hero is a lot of fun and my friends and I have played it a lot the last few days. See what having a few weeks off of school have leaded me to do. You think I should be doing something productive like reading, scrap booking. Oh well I’m enjoy my little break. I can’t believe that Christmas is almost here, wow, time goes by so fast. I feel like I haven’t done any shopping this year. Last year I decided that I would buy all my next years gifts the day after Christmas. I only had a few things to left to buy this year. I thought that I would enjoy not having to hurry and get everything done at the last minute. But, it turns out that I miss the mad rush of trying to get the gift bought in the crazy shopping crowd. So I don’t think I will be doing it again this year because I look forward to the insane crazy shopping at the last minute next year. I think it the rush.

Finals are over :)

Yes, finals are done. I took my last final on Monday; thank goodness they are all done. This semester has really been a hard one for me. With working, very long work week, managing Jack, I’m just glad I just made it to the end. I can’t say that I am going to pass all of my classes but at least it’s over. For my last final I had to drive to Twin to take, I tried really hard to convince my teacher that he should let my take it here but I couldn’t convince him so I made the drive. In the end it all worked out because I was able to visit my good friend Amee and her cute family.

Update .....

Well I’m not that good at updating and everyone keeps asking me when I am going to update so I thought I better get it done so here goes. The weekend after Thanksgiving my dad and I went on out annual shopping trip. I didn’t think that we were both going to find the time to go with our busy schedules, but it worked out and we were able to go. We ended up going to Boise (I bet you can’t guess why?) of course it was to go and see the cutes baby Hunter in the world. Oh, ya his parents also, just kidding Josh and Jen. We went up there on Friday night and went strait to their apartment were we stayed the night. We slept there that night and got up somewhat early to get a head start on the shopping most years we don’t get all the shopping done, but this year we managed to get everyone done all in one day. I would tell you what stores we had the best luck in but I don’t what to give any clues so just keep guessing.

I have also had to go Boise a few more times for work which in turn didn’t turn out that bad because I was then again able to see Josh and his family. I mostly have been really busy with all of my finals for school but the good news is that I have my last one tomorrow I can’t wait until it is over. Hopefully I pass them all. Even with the craziness of finals and school I have still managed to have fun hanging out with my friends. This last weekend I went with them and also our singles branch to Salt Lake. We decided to leave early to do a little shopping and of course I needed to hang out with Brenda and her wonderful family, thanks again by the way. Saturday we went shopping until we had to meet the branch at Rodizio’s, it’s a brazilin BBQ, all you can eat meat. If you haven’t ever eaten at a brazilin BBQ you should really go I love it. I was brave and tried chicken hearts, to be honest I really didn’t like it but at least I can say that I have tried it. After we ate we walked around temple square looking at the beautiful lights. Then we went to Savior of the World at the little theater in the conference center. I really enjoyed it.

Well that’s about all that been missed I think. I will try to do better but I don’t make any promises.
